South African soldiers, part of the Southern African Development Community's mission to fight against armed rebel groups in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, stand in Goma as the bodies of two South African soldiers are repatriated to South Africa Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024. The two soldiers were killed and three injured when a mortar landed in their base in eastern Congo amid increased unrest in the region.
